Johnny's Take: "Exclusive" barely hints at what this chic ultra-lounge is all about - yet the atmosphere is more relaxed than you'd expect! Sleek yet classy, Marquee's evocative layout is truly a piece of art unto itself: A glass-bead chandelier lights up the dramatic main room, accented by dark, polished wood on all sides and sprawling banquette seating. At the back, a pyramid-like staircase leads to a soundproof, glassed-in, second-floor lounge overlooking the vaulted main room.
(personal note - Marquee hosted great scenes from The Sopranos' final season 2+ years ago and is STILL considered a top NYC nightlife destination).

Inside Marquee New York, the two-story space is thoughtfully designed and laid out, centered on a modest dance floor ringed by banquettes and punctuated by a dramatic chandelier that changes color with the disco lights. It’s all very slick (one of the two other rooms has sexy red rippled walls), with bottle service and plainclothes models boogying to hip techno remixes.
As for music, DJs Brinka will play a mix of Hip-Hop, R&B, Rock, House, Pop, Latin and 80's.
