Johnny Premier (born Hartford, Connecticut, December 12, 1973) is Chairman of J Premier Marketing, Inc., a event producing company based in New York City. Operating as "The Premier List," J Premier Marketing, Inc. plans weekly parties in Manhattan, hosts cruises off the NYC Piers from April through October, promotes concerts and live attractions, and produces New Years Eve events worldwide.
Johnny Premier himself originally gained a modicum of fame in 2004 with appearances on the VH1 show "Best Week Ever."

Early Life:
Johnny's father was a band director, and he grew up in Manchester, then Bolton, Connecticut. In 1995 he received a B.A. from Clark University, and in 1998, received a Juris Doctrate from the Pace University School of Law. After passing the New York & Multistate Bar Examination, Johnny practiced law for 2+ years, but did not enjoy it. A 2001 incident at then-named Limelight Nightclub in New York City convinced him to abandon the legal practice and start his own business.
Creation of The Premier List
Johnny began promoting smaller venues, and received his first break in 2002 when he became director of Saturday Night promotions at then-called Saci Nightclub, which is located in Times Square on West 41st Street & Broadway. Saci has since been renamed - Show, then Arena, and now added a separate venue called Pulse downstairs.
Johnny has thrown weekly events at Manhattan venues including Eugene's, Lot 61, Club Touch (then T-New York), Mansion and Bed. His primary interests in 2011 are Saturday Nights at Pacha Nightclub, an Ibiza based franchise that hires worldwide DJ's including Jonathan Peters, Victor Calderone, Erick Morillo & Carl Cox. On Saturdays, Johnny hosts an event at Elevate, a new venue next to Penn Station & Madison Square Garden. He also charters nighttime cruises in Manhattan that tour the Hudson River.

Discovery of Artists
Johnny hired many up-and-coming artists who have since gone onto greater fortune. Johnny booked Lady Gaga, Renee Stakey & Janine V to perform live, and gave DJ talents such as Mark Anthony & DJ Dre their first New York City exposure. He has also produced events featuring Samantha Fox, Boy George and Pretty Poison.
Personal Life
Johnny is single and lives in New York City.
